RE-INTRODUCING SIERRA OSBORNE!

Way back in 2015 when I was at the Montana FFA Convention I interviewed several students right on the floor of the vendor show.  That was way back in episode #126.  One of those students was Sierra Osborne.

Today Sierra returns to the Off-Farm Income Podcast with a new venture in agriculture.  What is so great about her return, is that my assistant Ashley was unaware of Sierra’s previous appearance on this show.  However, Sierra continues to stand out, and Ashley promptly tracked her down for another interview.

Sierra is now a bronze proficiency award winner, and she is still raising her sheep.  However, her agricultural writing, which is great, has found her being pursued for blog publishing now as well.  So, Sierra is now a writer for the “Raised In A Barn Blog” and writes compelling agricultural content.

You will definitely want to subscribe to this blog and follow Sierra in this great, agricultural journey!

Donate to FFA – One way that FFA students are able to start small businesses is through an FFA grant of $1,000.  In 2014, 141 FFA students received these grants.  With your donations, more students can get this head start – pay it forward.

REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA:

• Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food.
• Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation.  The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth.
