OFI 321: Who Am I And Why I Am I Here? | A Look At The Upper Limit Problem

Show Notes

I have consistently been in awe of what this audience has done for me as I developed this part of my agricultural journey.  However, the last 30 days of my life has illustrated this more than ever.

Between being asked to officiate a wedding, to flying off to North Carolina to speak at an SAE camp to coming home and serving as the M.C. of the Miss Rodeo Idaho Competition, my mind is blown.

All of this has caused me to ask, “Who Am I And What Am I Doing Here”?  There is a lot to this question, but I think it comes down to what is called the upper limit problem.  This is when we cannot see ourselves as more successful than we are right now, so we do something to keep us in our comfort zone.

I keep getting confronted with exiting this comfort zone, and that is a good thing.  As this is happening to me, I know it is or will be happening to you.  So let’s talk about it!
