Our guest today loves to hunt and loves to be around hunting. When it comes to his future career he is the exception, not the rule. He is the rare person who has known his passion since he was a young boy. And, he is pursuing it to the fullest.
Cordell Waggoner is the hunter I am talking about. What is so impressive about Cordell is that he found the FFA, and it gave him the perfect opportunity to do something for school that would further his involvement in hunting. For his SAE he raises and sells pheasants for upland game hunting outfitters.
This business gave Cordell the idea that he could work in his passion as a career when he was done with school. However, college was next, and what was he going to study that would make it even more possible for him to follow his passion? After researching and thinking about how to make this work Cordell decided to major in tourism and hospitality management. He has found the perfect major that will combine everything that he already knows about hunting with the ability to work with clients and provide them with great hunting experiences.
I love how Cordell was able to think outside the box and come up with a creative major to further his interests!
