What were you doing in high school? I had a part-time job, was hanging out with my friends and playing baseball. I probably had a pretty normal high school experience compared to most students in the United States. However, I was not in the FFA.
FFA students continue to amaze me, and today’s guest is no exception. Jarod Arnold starting to learn about repairing and maintaining diesel engines from his father and uncle as a young man. And, he began his SAE experience in a placement SAE working for them in their shop.
However, as time went on and his experience grew he decided to strike out on his own. So, as a teenager Jarod decided to start his own service business. So now Jarod has his own service truck, and he goes to farmer’s homes and shops to service and repair their tractors and other equipment. Unbelievable!

Donate to FFA – One way that FFA students are able to start small businesses is through an FFA grant of $1,000. In 2014, 141 FFA students received these grants. With your donations, more students can get this head start – pay it forward.
REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA:
“Because American farmers are able to provide for so many of us, they give more and more of us the freedom to pursue goals and livelihoods beyond growing the food we need to survive.”
