INTRODUCING BRITTANY SMITH!
Today we are going to be introducing you to Brittany Smith. Brittany is the first, three term chapter president that I have ever interviewed. Brittany lives on her family’s farm in western New Jersey. Actually, the town where she attends high school is aptly name for National FFA Week. It is Washington, New Jersey. And of course, National FFA week is all about celebrating our first president’s passion for agriculture.
Brittany is the third generation from her family to participate in the FFA at Warren Hills Regional High School. Brittany is actually participating in four SAE’s. She has a diversified livestock production SAE. She also has a dairy cattle and sheep SAE. She raises rabbits, miniature horses, llamas, goats, chickens, hogs and alpacas as well.
Brittany loves animals and is very busy. But she says the sheep are her favorite animals on the farm.

Donate to FFA – One way that FFA students are able to start small businesses is through an FFA grant of $1,000. In 2014, 141 FFA students received these grants. With your donations, more students can get this head start – pay it forward.
REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA:
“Because American farmers are able to provide for so many of us, they give more and more of us the freedom to pursue goals and livelihoods beyond growing the food we need to survive.”
U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack
