Today we have a great business model to tell you about.  Larry Pierce, the creator of Rogue Hoe Distributing LLC is coming on to tell the story of how he founded this business.  What is great about his business is that instead of developing a product and then trying to sell it, he found a great product that was under-represented in the market.  He then created his own business by going out and opening up a market for this product and becoming a distributor.  

Larry has some great advice for us today and shows us what is possible if you always have your eyes open for opportunity.

ADVICE FROM LARRY:

BELIEVE: You have to believe in the product you are going to be selling.  If you do not believe in it, you cannot create an effective business.

FACE TO FACE:  When it comes to the people you are going to be selling for and the people you are going to be selling to, meet them face to face and get to know the person.

MANAGER: If you are trying to set up an account and have to stand around for an hour to speak with the manager, do it.  You need to speak with the actual decision maker.

BEST BUSINESS ADVICE LARRY HAS RECEIVED:

CUSTOMER IS RIGHT?: Larry says that the best thing he was ever told is a new twist on an old saying, “The customer is always right unless it is dangerous”.

PERSONAL HABIT THAT HELPS LARRY SUCCEED:

TALKING: Larry likes to talk to people and it is not something that he has to think about twice.  Plus he likes to learn about people’s individual stories.
