Mission Statement

Off-Farm Income serves those who love their rural and agricultural lifestyles, as well as those who are dreaming of the day they can achieve that lifestyle.

Our passion is to help people find the answer to the question of “how can I farm and live rural” through compelling interviews with people from all aspects of agriculture as well as FFA students who remind us all why we love this lifestyle!

Off-Farm Income’s Reach

The Off-Farm Income Podcast is downloaded between 750,000 and 1,000,000 times per year by an audience primarily from the United States. 88% of the Off-Farm Income audience is from the U.S., and the other 12% is dominated by listeners from Canada, The United Kingdom and Australia. Off-Farm Income is downloaded in every state in the U.S. with California and Texas having the two largest audiences.

The Off-Farm Income Listener

  • Off-Farm Income offers you a clearly defined audience – 100% of the listeners are either in agriculture or are very interested in agriculture.
  • Off-Farm Income offers you a highly motivated audience – 100% of the listeners have either subscribed or purposely downloaded the episode to which they are listening.
  • Off-Farm Income offers you a close connection to the audience.  Podcast hosts develop close relationships with the audience due to the nature of the format, and audiences pay that back with trust and loyalty.
  • Off-Farm Income offers you the ability demonstrate the usefulness of your products to the audience.  Any product you want tested by the host and his family can be reviewed on the show through a testimonial.  Our audience trusts that we will not recommend any product that we do not believe they should spend their hard earned money on, so reviews will be honest and pre-approved by the client.

Evergreen Content

Off-Farm Income episodes are both content driven and evergreen. Evergreen means that they are always available to be downloaded, and the content remains fresh. Because Off-Farm Income focuses on subjects that can help people and not current events, past episodes continue to be downloaded for years after the initial release.

Bang For Your Marketing Buck

We believe that there is no better return on a marketing investment than advertising in this way. 100% of the listeners are in a pre-identified demographic that you are seeking to communicate with, and they are purposefully downloading the show. These same listeners are devoted to the host and trust that the testimonials being spoken are genuine.

The number of listens your advertisements will receive from people in your target demographic per dollar spent cannot be replicated by other mediums.

Off-Farm Income was created and remains owned by the host, Matt Brechwald. Because we directly market our services and platform to the brands we use and love, we are able to keep our advertising costs low.
