Introducing Cole Guerrant – Union High School FFA!
Cole is an impressive young man for many different reasons. He just completed high school and a placement SAE that was very entrepreneurial in its nature. He has been working on a winery since his freshman year, and now it appears that he knows everything about the business. He certainly would be prepared to go out and start into this business if he wanted to.
Cole told me that on the winery he prunes, fertilizes, sprays, presses grapes, oversees fermentation, bottles and packages. Plus he does all the maintenance.
What was even more impressive to me is that Cole is getting read to head off to the Missouri State Technical College in Linn to study as a heavy equipment mechanic. He plans to continue his work on the winery on the weekends, but in the mean time he is mentoring a new student to take his place at the winery. What a great accomplishment that he has reached a level of proficiency that he is now mentoring.
I am sure you will just as impressed as I was with Cole Guerrant.
