The Agricultural College Episode is designed to profile agricultural trade schools, junior colleges, colleges and universities around the U.S.
This episode is an effort to replicate the conversation that prospective students, parents and ag teachers might have with agricultural schools at trade show like the National FFA Convention.

Dr. Elizabeth Walker

On today’s episode we are profiling Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.  Located in the beautiful, rolling hills of the Ozarks, students can launch their agricultural careers in everything from farm management to viticulture to plant breeding at this university.  Missouri State University also offers a non-resident tuition waiver that is merit based, and which I am a big fan of.

Avery Shirek, Collegiate Cattleman President

In addition to profiling this university, I will be speaking with my guests about how they teach farm safety every year during National Farm Health & Safety Week.  This is very personal to one of our guests, and of course it is very important in the world of farming and agriculture.
