Introducing Toby VanWyck! 

Toby is our third guest to come to us from Webberville High School in Michigan.  He lives on his family’s farm in Fowlerville, Michigan where they raise sheep, cattle and crops.

Toby has decided to focus on cattle for his SAE.  He is raising both Hereford and Simmental Cattle.  He is showing the Hereford after researching the breed and learning that they are more docile than other breeds.

Toby has a very traditional supervised agricultural experience, and it is obvious in speaking with him that he truly enjoys what he is doing and has learned a lot.

Donate to FFA – One way that FFA students are able to start small businesses is through an FFA grant of $1,000.  In 2014, 141 FFA students received these grants.  With your donations, more students can get this head start – pay it forward. REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA:

• Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food.
