As I have been privileged to interview more and more FFA students I have started to notice a recurring theme that is pretty special. I have interviewed a number of students who have a business that has been started by either their older brother or sister. That is the case with today’s guest, Emily Glenn.
Emily’s brother started Glenn Show Feeds some years back and passed it along to her when it was her turn in FFA. Today Emily is selling animal feed to several people in and around her county in Kansas as well as in other states. She is learning about inventory control, markup and retail plus many other aspects of business.
I hope you enjoy getting to hear about this great business.

Donate to FFA – One way that FFA students are able to start small businesses is through an FFA grant of $1,000. In 2014, 141 FFA students received these grants. With your donations, more students can get this head start – pay it forward.
REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA:
“Because American farmers are able to provide for so many of us, they give more and more of us the freedom to pursue goals and livelihoods beyond growing the food we need to survive.”
