Introducing Seth Cupery! 

Seth Cupery has a story that I love bringing to our audience.  One of the great things about family farms is that progress from generation to generation is the way that the young people are brought into the business.  Seth’s case is this story.  From an age too young for Seth to remember he has been given responsibilities on the farm.  Year after year he is given more and more responsibility.

Two things happen over this time span.  First, Seth learns more and more and is able to provide more and more meaningful help to his dad and grandfather.  Second, as he progresses he learns whether or not this is what he wants to do.  By the time he is old enough to enter his career field he knows whether or not farming is something that he wants to devote his life to.  It is a great model.

Donate to FFA – One way that FFA students are able to start small businesses is through an FFA grant of $1,000.  In 2014, 141 FFA students received these grants.  With your donations, more students can get this head start – pay it forward.

REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA:

• Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food.
