Our guest today is a nominee to be the National Star Winner in agribusiness, and after speaking with him I can see why. Benjamin Curtin loves to build and create. He started way back in the 4th Grade by building wooden toys and selling them on the school bus for $1.00. When he was in the 8th grade he started doing all the fabricating for his families farm in Illinois.
Today Benjamin is studying mechanical engineering at Purdue University so he can better design and manufacture parts and implements for customers in his business, Curtin’s Creations. Benjamin has been operating this business since his sophomore year of high school as word spread that he could create things to solve people’s problems.
In addition to his creativity with a welder and plasma cutter, Benjamin has also challenged himself as a leader. This led to him serving as his chapter’s president while he was still in high school. You will enjoy getting to know Benjamin.
